It's been too long since my last post :( And I'm gonna be away again tomorrow. Remember my plan few months ago? Yesss, I'm heading right to Lombok island tomorrow for 2 days and continue ahead to Bali island for 5 days with some of my college friends! A long trip indeed~~ So excited! Gonna be so much fun! Wait for the story next week, will you?

For now, I got a few designer collections for you. When I was going to Ciputra World Mall last Saturday, they were celebrating the mall first anniversary by holding a fashion show from branded store located there, such as Red Valentino, Versus, Mango, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. I came quite late and only caught up the Red Valentino and Versus' fashion show. What a pity!

Honestly I can't say that this is a great fashion show. The models' hair were too careless and the lighting wasn't good. But overall, I enjoyed it. What do you think?

Oh! Have I told you that I won my first ever giveaway?! It was a Crochet White giveaway from miss.tea&co blog! I received 4 lovely handmade accessories from her~ A bow knot scarf, a very cute octopus ring, a rabbit necklace, and a heart phone charm which now hanging within my blackberry phone! Thanks Fiona for the gifts and the sweet card, I'll use them well! Have packed them for my trip tomorrow XD.

Be FAB!

For years bullying has become an issue. But is there any movement to at least prevent or making it better? Haven't known an effective one before. People get bullied everyday. And it doesn't end in just one day. No, of course not. They even get bullied later when they grow up. I mean it will become a cycle no one can avoid.

People often get bullied for their appearance, attitude, background, race, and now even worse, for their fashion sense. Honestly it doesn't make sense for me. You dressed for yourself, not for the people out there who criticize. Comment is unavoidable, but what's up with fashion bullying? It's so not cool.

So if you happen to be a victim or witness (I know my pretties aren't the bully one XD) you should be proud because you are different from the rest. Who wants to be the same, copy, doppelganger, you name it? Love yourself! A girl can and should dress as she wishes. It's in our blood :D 

Then exactly last week come an invitation from FAB, Fashion Against Bullying. It's a movement against bullying that let people express their support by uploading their photos wearing a basic white top written with "FAB" and bully words you hear or know.

Design Festival 2012

Looooong time no see~~ have been too and over busy. Yes, and my insomnia is back :| 

Remember my past post about me being a Dfest 2012 finalist? I lost T.T. But it was fun though! I won't give up design just being lost again. heeheehehe. The model is my best friend, Audrey Sinatra. She is tall, sharp eyes, and she gave me advice of what should I did -that's the best part-.

Hectic Week

Gosh..Long time no post and this time still no fashion post. Have been so busy this week. College from Mon to Sat and so on. Glad to have a weekend even not a wonderful one.

Yesterday on Saturday after class, I went to a film production seminar held by college. It's a national seminar that attracts lot of people from my major since we would have film class later semester. The guest for the seminar is a well known producer in Indonesia, Riri Riza. He produced many great films such as Laskar Pelangi, Petualangan Sherina, Ada Apa dengan Cinta, Gie, and many more. His films always contain great meaning and loved by Indonesian.

The seminar itself took place at Gedung Juang '45. A vintage building with bright orange exterior paint and oldish Indonesian interior. Didn't bring my camera that day, so I'll just showed you a picture taken from uncle Google~ I can't find the inside picture though. The main hall is filled with framed vintage photographs. It's so vintage and beautiful. I don't know whether Gedung Juang is opened for public or not, if yes I wanna go back there and take some photos. Should be nice indeed!

After the seminar, me and few friends headed to Ciputra World Mall and ate there for a few hours. I skipped my sat-night and spent some quality time home.

Oh yeah! Forget to tell you! My and my friend (one team)'s design was selected as finalist for d-fest. A design festival held by my college. Feel so excited! I'll show you the design later on the fashion show day! Yipeeee! So excited. It's the second time I'm going to final since Junior Fashion Design Competition by Arva School of Fashion last two year (lost that time). Wish me luck this time??!!! *amen-ing the quote*

Belated Valentine

I hope I'm not too late for Valentine mood~ Been busy these few days since my day back at college. I'm so lack of sleep. Enough whining! 

Happy belated Valentine, Earth!!!

It's not a new outfit post though. Yet the theme is perfectly match to Valentine. Heeehehee~

Just an ordinary day for me. Yeah, except the chocolates, the cakes, and the cookies. Oh, and the pink. I went for a dinner at my friend's house with my best friends, the Baby Crown plus some other friends. We ordered pizzas. Had a really great time because one of the Baby Crown, Iline is back from her study in Australia for holiday. Just missing three other friends whom currently studying abroad and other two friends whom out with their own dates. Overall, it was a great night! Didn't take photos with my camera though. 

Oh, I made chocolate chip cookies for my friends on the 13th night. Turned out quite good and so crunchy. I love cookies, don't you? 

Ingredients

2 cups of all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 tablespoon of vanilla 

1 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of white sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1/2 cup of Blueband (margarine), room temperature

1/4 cup of unsalted butter, room temperature

chocolate chip

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius and coat the baking pan with butter or line with baking sheet.

In a large mixing bowl mix together margarine, butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, baking soda egg, and egg yolk with mixer. Shift in the flour slowly into the the mixture then mix until completely blend. Stir in the chocolate chip -I use about 1 cup, add more if you like-.

Drop small amount of the dough on the baking pan evenly. Bake for about 15 until 20 minutes. After baking, put the cookies on a wire rack and let it cool.

Not So Gloomy Saturday

Fever on Saturday? One word : bad. Me and my college friend had already have a plan this weekend. A sudden fever attack is unavoidable and unlikeable. So annoyed. 

I ended up re-read one of my favourite book, The One Hundred by Nina Garcia. The book is my last birthday present from my best-est friends, the 7Gangsters -yeah, that's our gang's name XD- The book contains 100 essential fashion items you should have. And it's definitely correct! I ended up want to shopping. Sigh. Here's the cover. Took it from google. Too lazy to take my camera and photoed mine.

And I spent the rest of the night watching Running Man (again). Running Man surely healed my mood! I can't help laughing all the time. It's getting more interesting every episode. If any of you haven't watched Running Man, go and download now! Here is a photo of the show's casts. 

Yeah, though I'm staying home, this weekend wasn't that bad. At least I had some fun. Oops, monday is start of the new semester. Weird isn't it, when you're in the middle of the semester you want some holiday. When you're on holiday, you miss your lessons. When it's getting close to holiday end, you want to start the holiday all over again. That's life. Whatever. I get to see my friends on monday. So... not bad!

My best-est friend's birthday is coming in a few hours. Yet she left her Blackberry in Surabaya and gone missing on twitter, skype, etc. How should I contact her. My fault forgot to ask her Malaysian number== HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dear Hana. Have a blast year ahead. Come back soon. I'm so miss you!
