First thing first, MERRY CHRISTMAS pretties! 

I should have posted yesterday right on Christmas day. But I was too busy finishing the last book of Eragon series, The Inheritance. Definitely not a waste reading it. Full set of fantasy and adventure! My favourite kind of stories.

Referring to this Christmas post, you'd think I'd post some Christmas-y outfit right? I swear I would love to...but due to a very unfortunate thing, which is my camera didn't work properly, I could only pick some pictures that noise-less enough to be shared *sad*.

I wore a red knitted dress which is extremely lovely. It's a vintage I got from mom. A lace top as inner and lace collar completed my outfit! The classic and pretty collar is a gift from Stellar Neckwear as I answered their questionaire. Thanks! Oh, and the tough boots was made based on my design. It was used to complete the whole outfit I designed for a Junior Fashion Design Competition few years ago. Will share more later :p

Ah, and during the day, I made Sugar Cookies too! Took the recipe from Martha Stewart's and adapted it as needed. It was an easy cookies recipe. Scroll more for the recipe!

Greeting the Sea

Yuhuuu pretties~ long time no see... Quite busy lately but recently I've been thinking, I have the same schedule as Wulan from Bootsy Doopsy, yet she diligently updates hers yet mine is left uncared. Yeaps,  totally my fault here. Will try to do better!

Below are photos from my heavenly holiday last *ehm* July-August. We spend 2 days at Lombok island -go ask uncle google if you don't know this wonderful island- and the rest at Bali island -kick me if you know nothing about this amazing island!-

I went there with my college friends. Had lot of fun. And craving for more.

Quite an uphill place where we could see the Senggigi island. Beautiful yet windy there. Friend said that Eunjung from T-ara took a photo right there too during her visit.

Stopped at Qunci Villa. We didn't spend nights there though. The exterior was great and there was so much western people there. We order some snacks and spend the noon playing at the beach there.

Blueberry Jam

My first weekend in this endless holiday. Planned to go with friends but cancelled in last hours :(

I was quite bored being home alone, so I opened my favourite cooking blog, For the Love of Cooking, and found an easy recipe, German Pancake. Changed the measure a little bit. Took only about half an hour and voila! 

1/2 cup of flour

1/2 cup of milk

2 eggs, beaten lightly

2 tbsp of butter, melted

a pinch of sugar and salt

2 tbsp of brown sugar

a teaspoon of cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius. Meanwhile, melt the butter in the pan you're gonna use to bake later.

In a large bowl mix the flour, milk, and beaten eggs. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for about 20minutes. 

Mix the brown sugar and the cinnamon together. Sprinkle on top of the pancake.

In late evening, I went to the nearby mall with mom and dad to have a dinner. Ate Nasi Bali there. A Balinese food. Not that delicious though. I know a better place XD

A Walk to Neighbourhood

My university's exam weeks have finished! Hurray! Now I'm stepping right into holiday hole. It's gonna be a looooooong holiday. I'm trying to make my holiday-to-do-list again this time which always failed to be done for so many years before. And I'm going to paradise Bali on late July with my college friends! Woohoo!

Right, enough of my babbling. I went to Malaysia, KL to be exact yesterday dawn. A one day trip :| Yes you read right, ONE day. I'm already on my own bed now. Parents got thing to do there and I just tagged along like a gum sticking on pants.

Freshened, finally!

Yeahh!! Finally saturday, everyone's favourite day~ What were you doing on saturday night? I had a wonderful saturday this time. And you know, I got my hair cut. Finally. I love my new hair. It feels so comfy and fresh. Actually, I want to have it cut shorter, I'll do it next time. heeheeehee. Do you think I did the right thing or is it a disaster?

I went to Surabaya Town Square -or so called sutos- with my lovely 7Gangsters. 4 gangsters to be exact. Had so much fun! It's been a long time since we hang out here. Ate at Sushi Hana. By the way my camera seems to be in trouble as all the photos taken were blur. Too bad. 

 

Belated Valentine

I hope I'm not too late for Valentine mood~ Been busy these few days since my day back at college. I'm so lack of sleep. Enough whining! 

Happy belated Valentine, Earth!!!

It's not a new outfit post though. Yet the theme is perfectly match to Valentine. Heeehehee~

Just an ordinary day for me. Yeah, except the chocolates, the cakes, and the cookies. Oh, and the pink. I went for a dinner at my friend's house with my best friends, the Baby Crown plus some other friends. We ordered pizzas. Had a really great time because one of the Baby Crown, Iline is back from her study in Australia for holiday. Just missing three other friends whom currently studying abroad and other two friends whom out with their own dates. Overall, it was a great night! Didn't take photos with my camera though. 

Oh, I made chocolate chip cookies for my friends on the 13th night. Turned out quite good and so crunchy. I love cookies, don't you? 

Ingredients

2 cups of all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 tablespoon of vanilla 

1 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of white sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1/2 cup of Blueband (margarine), room temperature

1/4 cup of unsalted butter, room temperature

chocolate chip

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius and coat the baking pan with butter or line with baking sheet.

In a large mixing bowl mix together margarine, butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, baking soda egg, and egg yolk with mixer. Shift in the flour slowly into the the mixture then mix until completely blend. Stir in the chocolate chip -I use about 1 cup, add more if you like-.

Drop small amount of the dough on the baking pan evenly. Bake for about 15 until 20 minutes. After baking, put the cookies on a wire rack and let it cool.

Mid-End Holiday

My insomnia can't be helped. Getting worse on holiday like this. Sigh. I'm watching Running Man as I writing this post. My night-laugh-medicine. LOL. It's getting more and more funny! My favourite korean reality show beside Family Outing. I think sis getting annoyed hearing me laugh at midnight while she sleeps. Blame Running Man.

Since the start of the holiday last december I've been hanging out with mom all the time. Just like today, mom got some matter at Pasar Atom -must visit place in Surabaya, a combination of market and mall, one of the hype-est shopping destination here-. I've been to Atom too often that I feel some of the shopkeepers there gave me a weird I-know-you glance. Like usual, I was going around the mall when I bumped to my aunt and my little cousin there. So to get rid of my boredom, I kidnapped XD my little bro and we played at Timezone for a while. Then in the evening me and mom went to Galaxy Mall. Walked around until my feet felt numb. Blame that lovely blue heels. 

Sat-Nite Fun

I wasn't in a good mood this morning. Yet my parents took me to a motivation event hosted by Andrie Wongso in a mall, called Grand City. I was super lazy and lack of sleep. Fortunately, in the middle of the coffee break, I was able to escape for a while to a newly-opened store, (X) S.M.L. I managed to buy myself a new baby there~

Spaghetti ala Carbonara with Lemon

I was cooking my favourite food ever...Pasta!!! This time I used spaghetti and cooked it ala carbonara. I think this recipe is really nice to girls. It contained little calories, lot of nutritious material, easy to make, and absolutely yummy~ I neither used cream nor milk for the sauce instead, I used soy milk there. Soy milk contains less calories and more calcium than milk. Actually, the smell is sharper than usual milk, but it gave special taste to food. I didn't use butter too and rather used olive oil. I used olive oil&lemon, it tastes really good when you chew the mushroom. It's really easy to make for beginner and doesn't take much time.
